    Valerie Baxendale joined Wolters Kluwer’s U.S. Advisory Services consulting practice as a senior regulatory consultant in 2016. She has more than 25 years of experience as a corporate officer, attorney and compliance professional in senior-level positions throughout the financial services industry. Valerie has worked closely with BSA officers and financial crimes departments in overseeing BSA/AML matters for numerous types of institutions, and she has served on various BSA/AML oversight committees.  Her areas of expertise also include UDAAP, compliance management systems, fair and responsible banking, risk assessments, training, and third-party vendor management.  Valerie received her J.D. from DePaul University in Chicago, Ill. and her M.B.A. and B.A. from Indiana University.  She has completed the ABA National Compliance School and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
