    Ann-Marie Lefebvre

    Consulting Manager, U.S. Advisory Services

Ann-Marie Lefebvre is a consulting manager with the Wolters Kluwer U.S. Advisory Services team. With over 20 years of industry experience, she assists financial institutions of all asset sizes with the complex regulatory intricacies of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA.) Most recently, Lefebvre has helped clients understand the challenges of the new Dodd Frank HMDA 2018 data requirements, providing training, analysis and guidance for improving data integrity.

Over the years, Lefebvre has worked closely with hundreds of clients, providing HMDA and CRA data analytics in preparation of regulatory exams, and assisting post-exam to resolve issues and establish priorities.  She also assists with CRA self-assessments, and provides strategic support pre- and post-mergers and acquisitions, including goal-setting.

Lefebvre also helps financial organizations improve processes and implement technology solutions to support CRA, HMDA readiness, and fair lending compliance.  She has leveraged her industry experience and strong understanding of HMDA and CRA requirements to create onsite, customized training programs for clients. Lefebvre specializes in training end users on the industry-leading software, CRA Wiz, focusing on rapid adoption rates and maximizing the value of the technology.

Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer, Lefebvre served for seven years as a community development strategy analyst with a large bank in New England. In this position, she played an integral role in setting goals for her institution’s CRA compliance program. She worked vigilantly to ensure that complete and accurate data was collected in a timely manner, prepared performance context data and risk assessments in advance of regulatory exams, and regularly monitored compliance with CRA requirements and her institution’s progress toward goals.

Lefebvre received a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Bryant University in Rhode Island.  She is a regular speaker and trainer at the CRA & Fair Lending Colloquium focusing on CRA and HMDA; has participated in Wolters Kluwer’s regional roundtables in North Carolina (2017) and New Orleans (2017); and has written articles in her field, including HMDA Data Integrity as published in Bank News magazine fall 2017.
